Sheriff Darren Popkin and Sheriff Jay Fisher join Executive Director Karen Kruger at the June 18 Gala Celebration in Baltimore marking the culmination of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year campaign. years, roadway-related fatalities led all categories of line-of-duty deaths across the nation. In the State of
Maryland, vehicle collisions have injured more than 1,500 law enforcement officers since 2009.
